After registration, you'll see a verification prompt in the wizard. Click "Verify Email" to receive a verification link. Check your inbox (and spam folder) and click the link to verify.

In the wizard (Step 1 - Account & Privacy), you can add and verify your phone number via OTP. This is required before you can proceed to membership.

Can divorced or widowed persons create a profile?

Not at this time. Kunkupatri currently accepts profiles only for never-married persons seeking their first marriage, and every profile is submitted with a declaration to that effect. This is why all profiles on the platform show "Never Married" as the marital status.

How do I create my profile?

After email/phone verification, the wizard guides you through creating your profile in Step 2. Fill in your personal details, clan information, education, and occupation.

Who can see my profile?

Only registered and verified members can browse profiles. Your published profile is visible to all members, but contact details (phone, address) are controlled by your privacy settings.

Who can see my photos?

New profiles start with the photo shield on: your small profile picture stays visible so members can recognise you, while its full-size version and all other photos are shown only to people you approve. You can change this anytime — Everyone (all registered members), Profile Pic Shielded, or Private (only people you approve).

How do I control who sees my phone number and address?

You stay in complete control of your contact details. Your phone number and address are never shown without your say — you decide whether they are visible to paid members or shared only with people you individually approve.

Yes. On any profile page, click the three-dot menu and select "Block". Blocked users cannot see your profile or send you requests.

How much does membership cost?

Full membership is listed at ₹4,999 per year. During our launch, Founding Members join at ₹1,499 per year — about ₹125 per month. New members can also try everything free for 30 days, and brides get a free membership during the launch phase.

Block the user immediately using the block option on their profile. Then report the profile, and reach out to our team from the Support page with details. We take harassment very seriously.

How are profiles verified? What is the gold Screened shield?

Every account must verify its email and phone number. Profiles are then screened automatically — here is what the process checks: (1) key details like kul, family, education, occupation and photos are provided; (2) the kul matches known Rajput kuls; (3) an AI-assisted review finds the profile details consistent and credible. Profiles that pass earn the gold "Screened" shield. No membership or payment is required — every profile is screened the same way. We do not collect Aadhaar or other identity documents, AI can make mistakes, and no check can conclusively establish community identity from profile data alone — so the shield means the profile appears authentic and consistent, and we encourage families to do their own verification before proceeding.
