Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last Updated: 28 September 2026
This page explains how cancellation and refunds work for memberships on kunkupatri.com, operated by Qubitlance Media Private Limited ("KP", "we"). It summarises Sections 6 and 7 of our Terms of Service; if the two ever differ, the Terms of Service prevail.
What you pay for
A Kunkupatri membership is a one-year digital service, paid in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay. It lets you send interests, chat with matches and see the contact details other members choose to share. Creating a profile is free, and it is published free once it passes our screening.
Cancellation
- Nothing renews on its own. We never charge you automatically — you renew only by making a new payment yourself. Free trials and free launch memberships never turn into a paid membership.
- You can stop at any time simply by not renewing. Your membership stays active until its end date. After that, paid features stop, and your account stays accessible with restricted features for a 30-day grace period (see Section 6 of the Terms).
- Closing your account: you can ask us to close your account at any time from Settings, by raising a support ticket, or by emailing cancellation@kunkupatri.com. Closing an account does not by itself entitle you to a refund of an active membership (see below).
Refunds
-
Payments are non-refundable, except as set out in point 2. No refunds are issued for unused time, early closure of your account, change of mind, or any reason not listed below.
-
We will refund the full amount, once verified, if you ask within 30 days of the payment and:
- (a) Duplicate payment: you paid twice by mistake for the same membership (for example, a second payment went through while the first was still processing). The extra year it added is removed when we refund it; or
- (b) Technical error: money was debited but your membership was not activated because of a technical error on our side.
Any other refund is at our sole discretion.
-
How approved refunds are made:
- The full amount is returned to the original payment method (the same UPI account, bank account, card or wallet).
- It reaches you within 5–7 working days of approval, depending on your bank.
- If a tax invoice was issued for the payment, a GST credit note is issued against it and emailed to you.
- If the refunded payment added time to your membership, that time is removed from the date of the refund.
-
Membership cannot be transferred to another person.
-
Suspension or termination: if an account is suspended or terminated for false information or for violating our Terms of Service, amounts paid are forfeited.
How to request a refund
Raise a support ticket from your dashboard (Support), or email support@kunkupatri.com with:
- the email address or phone number you sign in with,
- the invoice or receipt number from your payment email (also shown under Billing → Payment History), and
- a short description of what happened.
We reply within 24 hours on business days and aim to resolve every request within 15 days.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can contact our Grievance Officer as described on our Contact page.
