How Kunkupatri works

Kunkupatri is a matrimony site for Rajput families, made by Rajputs. Here is who can join, what it costs and what a profile asks for, so you can keep everything ready before you start.

Who can join

Kunkupatri is for never-married Rajput men and women seeking their first marriage — brides 18 to 40, grooms 21 to 40 years of age at the time of joining. A parent or family member is welcome to create and manage the profile on their behalf. Divorced, widowed or already married persons are not accepted. The upper age applies on the day you join: a member who joined within it remains a member after their birthday.

What it costs

Creating a profile, browsing and shortlisting are free. Your first 30 days open everything else. Brides join free for a year. Membership is ₹1,499 for the first year (list price ₹4,999), then ₹2,999 a year. It never renews on its own.

Once your profile is made you can browse and shortlist every published profile for free, for as long as you like. Interests, chat and contact requests need a membership, and your first 30 days include one at no cost, with no card needed.

Creating a profile, step by step

  1. Sign in with a mobile number, Google or email. One confirmed contact is enough; the other can be added later.
  2. Say whose profile it is: your own, or your son’s, daughter’s, brother’s, sister’s or a relative’s.
  3. Their name, then the date, time and place of birth (used for kundli matching; give what you know).
  4. Education, then work. Studying, farming or between jobs is a complete answer.
  5. The family and kul: the father’s name, kul, shakha and nakh, and the family’s village; then the mother’s name and the kul she was born into. Anything the family does not know can be marked “Not known”.
  6. Check the answers on one screen and submit. The free days start by themselves when the profile goes live.

It takes about five minutes. Answers are saved as you go, so you can stop and finish later, on any device. Photos, lifestyle and what you are looking for in a match are added from the profile page afterwards.

What to keep ready

  • Date of birth, and the birth time and place if known
  • The highest education and the current work
  • The father’s kul, shakha and nakh, and the family’s village
  • The mother’s kul, the nanihal

Already have a biodata?

A biodata the family already has can fill the form: upload it as a PDF or photos, or paste its text, including a biodata written with an assistant such as ChatGPT. You then check every answer, screen by screen, before the profile is submitted.

Privacy

New profiles start with the photo shield on: your small picture stays visible so members can recognise you, while full-size photos go only to people you approve. You can switch to Everyone or Private at any time. Your phone number and address start private and are shared only with people whose request you accept. Profiles are never shown to Google or any search engine.
